Let me begin on how i came about the name for this blog. If you guessed that most good names are taken, and others have squatters asking for big $$ then you are right. My thorough research which today means using Google/Wiki on Grand Vazir , and my finding on Wiki appealed to me, its literal meaning is “burden-bearer” or helper. Much later it went on to mean a Prime Minister/Royal Advisor/Confidant to Sultans and Kings around Persia to all the way to the Indian Sub-Continent. If you didn’t already know the Mughals were from Persia. I have begun to like this name, and it comes close to what i hope my readers can find on this blog.

Here you would find my opinions, and observations in my search to find myself, and how it lead up to this blog, and my understanding of spirituality. I haven’t experienced any kind of awakening or enlightenment, I am no religious scholar either, i just love to read, and i find this topic very fascinating, and makes for a good discussion. Now before I get started I would like to choose a direction to take. If you find ideas that need to be explored drop me a line.

I will present Humanity’s age old quest to find answers to concept of a greater power or God, leading to spirtuality and religion, and how modern scientific research has sought to explain this urge and timeless search for Why am I here? Who made all this? there must be someone far bigger, and far more powerful if it could put all this in such great order.

Starting with ancient civilizations I am most familiar with Egyptians->Greeks->Romans->Present times. Along with this I will write about astrology,tarot, nature worship and psychic path. Then i will write a bit about meditation, yoga and ayurveda

Finally I will write about the current wave or movement, and popularity of movies such as “What the Bleep Do We Know”, “The Secret” and whole shelves of book like “A New Earth” , and sites talking about quantum phenomenon to describe manifestation of all ones desires, and how to have all that you want, anytime, anywhere, some methods and practices that are used.
